Dragon Scale is a material created from the scales given by the Great Protector, used to enhance the weapons and armors of Ta Lo.

When the Great Protector helped the people of Ta Lo trap the Dweller-in-Darkness, they built a gate made of dragon scale to keep the Dweller at bay and trap him and the rest of the Soul Eaters behind it.[1]

Using dragon scale, the people of Ta Lo made weapons and armor forging the material into them. The dragon scales enhanced their power and fused them with the ability to kill the Soul Eaters. They used these weapons and armor in the Battle of Ta Lo.[1]
